Welcome to the USS Meridian!
The early years of the newly formed United Federation of Planets. The founding members, United Earth, Vulcan, Andor, Tellar, and Alpha Centauri lead the way for the new members: Confederated Martian Colonies, Alpha III, Vega IX, Denobula, Benzar, United Rigel Worlds and Colonies, Arken II, Orodanga and Bolarus IX who are finding their place and standing in the Federation.
The USS Meridian, a Columbia class starship, leads the way in exploration as Starfleet pushes out further among the stars to find new worlds and hopefully expand.
But all is not completely peaceful. The Klingon Empire has concerns of the Federation which they have already determined to be a major force and threat which continues to get stronger with each new world joining. There are also the threats of piracy as civilian ships continue to push out further for trade and science expeditions.
Come join the crew of the Meridian as we explore, practice diplomacy, take on old and new threats to the United Federation of Planets, including threats from within.

Heath Stoudemire had organized a camping trip among the enlisted in the helm department. Over the years, he had considered them to be family and the last thing he wanted to do was spend time among strangers on Denobula. Minus Darla who never had never spent a day sleeping outdoors, outside of Starfleet Basic Training the department had agreed to a few days out camping. Andre stood on the balcony of the hotel overlooking the city. It was decided that Todra City would be the place, they opted to spend they're New Years. Talariana entered the local establishment called The Three Moons Lounge that according to the hotel staff was one of the more popular places in the city.
