Welcome to the USS Meridian!

The early years of the newly formed United Federation of Planets. The founding members, United Earth, Vulcan, Andor, Tellar, and Alpha Centauri lead the way for the new members: Confederated Martian Colonies, Alpha III, Vega IX, Denobula, Benzar, United Rigel Worlds and Colonies, Arken II, Orodanga and Bolarus IX who are finding their place and standing in the Federation.

The USS Meridian, a Columbia class starship, leads the way in exploration as Starfleet pushes out further among the stars to find new worlds and hopefully expand.
But all is not completely peaceful. The Klingon Empire has concerns of the Federation which they have already determined to be a major force and threat which continues to get stronger with each new world joining. There are also the threats of piracy as civilian ships continue to push out further for trade and science expeditions.
Come join the crew of the Meridian as we explore, practice diplomacy, take on old and new threats to the United Federation of Planets, including threats from within.

Mission: New Years on Denobula
Posted on Sat Jun 20th, 2026 @ 12:22pm by Commander Thomas Carey & Captain Andre Hunt
After the Gunnery Sergeant exited his office, Andre had just one last thing meeting before going to his room to pack. And that was with his First Officer. With a couple of changes about to take place on the Meridian, he wanted to meet with him and ensure they were on the same page. Commander Carey was the type to always be on time, so he expected him to pop up at any moment. The man was also extremely serious. Hopefully, he would actually take the time to enjoy shoreleave.
Thomas walked into the office, being summoned meant that he…

Somewhere in the ships galley which was empty other than being occupied by Captain Andre Hunt and Chief Petty Antwon Burton. The word over the past two weeks since leaving L'Dira was that the Captain was putting together a New Years party on Denobula, which intrigued the ships head Chef. Though they were a few hours from beginning shoreleave, but Antwon insisted on helping to put this event together. Hunt had many talents but was party planner really one of them?
"The venue reservation has been confirmed," Andre announced with a bit of excitement in his voice. "Pulling up the…

Seana had driven the two officers about fifteen minutes from the rest of the away team. Bypassing several neighborhoods, then eventually found themselves stopping at a large field. Exiting the vehicle, they could see the field consisted of crops as far as the eye could see. Some of the crops were dying, but many of the others looked well on the far end of the field. Douglasdale couldn't help but wonder if the effects of the Grid carried all the way out here. Which in reality wasn't too far. The residences of some of the people were closer than…

Mission: New Years on Denobula
Posted on Thu Apr 16th, 2026 @ 4:01pm by Captain Andre Hunt & Gunnery Sergeant Antonio Lopez
The USS Meridian had arrived in orbit of Denobula four hours ago. While the ship was picking up supplies to deliver to Vega IX, Hunt had authorized the crew to take a few days of shore leave. Before the Meridian arrived, Eli McEntyre had informed him that he would be stepping down as the Marine CO and would remain on Denobula until he could find transportation back to Earth. Andre was sad to see the man go but understood his reasons to be with family. Being in space for almost a year had taken its toll on him. The truth…

Mission: Operation Shadow
Posted on Thu Apr 16th, 2026 @ 5:31am by Captain Andre Hunt & Commander Thomas Carey
Captain Makeo had requested to speak with Commander Thomas Carey alone before returning back the Orion homeworld. The last five days since signing the trade agreement was different than any other experience throughout his command. Initially he intended on completing his task by any means necessary. But things went in a completely different direction, which felt odd, yet it felt was a good feeling. One that seemed to fulfill a greater purpose. When he gave his word before, the Orion meant it. But now he was more determined to see this work out.
Upon arriving to the Meridian, he had…
