The USS Meridian embarks on a two-year assignment when they come in contact with pirates from a desperate world that has been causing mayhem and affecting the transport routes for the Trill. Captain Andre Hunt finds himself having to stabilize the region for the growing United Federation of Planets.

The USS Meridian responds to one crisis after another as they discover that grudges, political opportunists, and hidden enemies can be just as dangerous as warfare.

    T'Varra a frontier colony at far edge of the Saurian sector, has experienced the planet’s climate regulator coming to a complete failing. Starfleet sends Meridian to help, but soon it's revealed that the regulator was sabotaged.

    Receiving a distress call from the USS Tarken, a Starfleet vessel which was sent to Kzinti territory to ensure the compliance with demilitarization as the Treaty of Sirius specified. The USS Meridian arrives in the system to find that the Kzinti are having issues with maintaining order. A faction on Kzin has formed and is wanting to rebuild their forces.
